The first French fries production plant in Russia was built in the Lipetsk special economic Zone and at the time of opening became the largest joint venture of Belaya Dacha and the international agricultural holding Lamb Weston Meijer.The investments amounted to 10 billion rubles.
The project had satisfied the market demand: the plant’s productivity covered the need to import French fries to Russia. As part of a large-scale its own raw material base was created project in the Tambov region and an automated potato storage facility was built and put into operation at the same time.
As initially agreed in late 2020, Belaya Dacha Group sold its share in the project to the partners.
